TELEVISION stars Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall were among the first to buy their season tickets for Castleford Tigers.
The celebrity couple are ardent Tigers fans and attend most matches.
Lucy-Jo, 27, from Garforth, played Katy Harris in Coronation Street and Rosie Trevanion in Wild at Heart until 2009, and her husband, Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street, as they collect their season tickets ahead of the first home fixture next weekend.
They are also giving some home support to Lucy-Jo’s brother Ryan Hudson, 28, who plays hooker and is captain of the team.
Lucy and Alan posed with their tickets at the Probiz Coliseum, showing their support for Castleford Tigers and sharing their excitement about the new season.
Lucy said: “It was following Ryan that got me attending games and since then I’ve become a real fan of Rugby League and I think I’ll always have a soft spot for the Tigers.
“There’s always a family atmosphere here.”
