STILT WALKERS, aerial acrobats and steel drum bands entertained shoppers at a special carnival-themed event in Leeds city centre.
Thousands of shoppers descended on the Victoria Quarter to snap up some pre-Christmas bargains at the annual Shopping Affair.
Around 8,500 visitors attended the event, which offered special promotions, competitions and complimentary refreshments at many of the 72 luxury retailers.
Shoppers could also park for free at nearby car parks and had the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a luxury holiday to Jamaica.
John Bade, centre manager at the Victoria Quarter, said: “We’re thrilled with the success of the evening this year.
“For our customers, luxury shopping is much more than buying an expensive gift or something for yourself, it’s about an all-round enjoyable experience.
“To see so many people enjoying themselves at the Victoria Quarter was fantastic”.
