One of Leeds’ busiest roads was closed this morning after a collision between three cars.

The three vehicles, a black Mercedes C Class, a blue Ford and a grey Seat Leon, with three drivers and four passengers inside, crashed at 11.40am today on Kirkstall Road near the junction with Willow Road.

West Yorkshire Police said the road was closed in the aftermath of the accident but was beginning to get back to normal by 12.30pm. No-one involved in the collision was seriously injured.
