BUILDING work is set to begin on a 115,000 sq ft seven-storey commercial office development in Leeds which has just been given planning permission.

Latitude Blue, in the West End of the city, is being developed by BAM Properties.

This is BAM Properties’ third office development in Leeds. Lateral, a 96,000 sq ft office close to Leeds city centre, was sold in 2005 to Oregan Financial Services and a 121,944 sq ft development in the West End, Latitude Red, was sold to IVG in 2007.

BAM Properties development director Michael Smart said: “Construction can commence almost immediately following agreement with a prospective occupier.”
