A HOUSING developer is not only helping people find a new home, it is helping birds too.

Miller Homes Yorkshire is providing a nestbox with every house purchased until March 14 in support of the British Trust for Ornithology’s National Nest Box Week.

The company has developments in Pontefract, Wakefield, Dewsbury and Leeds. amongst others.

Jan Hanaby, area sales manager, said: “We are keen to help purchasers on our developments create wonderful outdoor spaces for themselves and wildlife.

“By supporting this initiative, we are encouraging buyers to not only consider how they design their exterior space as well as their interior but also to consider and help the native wildlife that is on their doorsteps and with spring just around the corner it is a great time to start.”
