A TELECONFERENCE organised by Yorkshire Bank’s Leeds Financial Solutions Centre has highlighted the importance of trading with Asia.

The event had the backing of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the government department for stimulating overseas trade.

Companies which joined the event heard from international trade experts on the opportunities across Asia for companies involved in healthcare, education, energy and transport.

International business advisor to UKTI, Colin Russell, and Simon Bedford, associate lecturer in international business and marketing at Sheffield Hallam University and advisor to UKTI, took part in the teleconference.
