A BUSINESS seminar is to be held in Wakefield next week, organised by a top bank.

The Barclays Business event will take place at the Ecurie25 Supercar Club in Trinity Business Park, Wakefield, on Thursday, starting at 5.30pm.

Local businesses are being invited to attend. To register, call Keith Waddington on 01924 323802.

The guest speaker will be marketing specialist Chris Allcoat who will talk about how to maximise marketing opportunities in the current economic climate.

This will be followed by canapés and networking with the opportunity for guests to view the supercars on display.

Nick Greenwood, area manager for Barclays Business in West Yorkshire, said: “Local businesses are the backbone of Britain’s economy and it’s important to support the ongoing efforts of local businesses in such challenging market conditions.

“Businesses in Wakefield have shown their resilience through the recent downturn and this event will provide the tools to help them plan the next stage of their development as the country pulls out of recession.”
