SPECIALIST plastering firm Ornate Interiors of Pudsey has received its Investors in People (IIP) certification after a 12 month effort.
Investors in People is a standard by which organisations work
towards improving their business performance and encompasses thousands of different employers of every sector and size.
Ornate Interiors now joins an exclusive group of organisations that are recognised with the standard in the country, meaning they are now eligible to use and display the sought after Investors in People logo and enjoy its benefits.
Ornate Interiors Ltd carries out lime plastering and manufactures and installs highly decorative fibrous plaster mouldings principally for stately homes, listed buildings, hotels, churches, homes and theatres across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe and recently picked up the leading industry award, the Humber Silver Salver, for its work on a new Metro station in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
The company also works on behalf of municipal bodies, architects, contractors and surveyors in compiling restoration surveys of buildings that require repairs and is also currently recruiting for a range of plastering courses to be run over the next year.
Ronnie Clifford, managing director of Ornate Interiors, said: "We are very pleased to have finally been awarded Investors in People status.
"The entire process has been a very enlightening experience and will positively impact on our approach to employees and our plans for business growth."
Chris Jones, head of Investors in People Yorkshire and Humber, said: "This is a fantastic achievement for Ornate Interiors and I would like to congratulate the organisation and its people on their commitment to continuous improvement in what they do.
"As an Investors in People Centre, we work with organisations to raise standards and improve performance through people.
