TOURISM and hospitality businesses are being told they could get funding to develop entrepreneurial skills.

Leeds-based training company The Business Springboard says that businesses have until November 30 to apply for 50 per cent funding through the Skills Enhancement Fund.

There is also funding available until March 31 through the Leadership and Management Advisory Service.

Ros Walker, tourism marketing consultant at The Business Springboard, said: “The availability of funding is something of a rarity in the current economic climate.”
