A VACANT three-bedroom property in Leeds is being offered at auction on Thursday with a guide price of just £20,000-plus.

The end through terrace on Beckhill Approach in Meanwood is in need of total renovation following fire damage but still represents a good investment, according to auctioneer Eddisons.

The vacant White Swan pub in Kippax is also scheduled to come under the auctioneer’s hammer. It has a guide price of £100,000 having been previously marketed at £165,000.

The two properties will be offered for sale in the auction at Leeds United Football Club, Elland Road, Leeds on Thursday. The sale starts at 12.30pm.

The auction will be a two-day affair with the first batch of properties being put under the hammer at The Ferguson Suite, Premier Inn, Trafford Park, Manchester on Tuesday.

The full catalogue is available to view online at www.ed disons.com.

The auction catalogue contains 136 lots and includes instructions received from local councils, breweries, British Waterways and receivers.

Tony Webber of Eddisons said: “It is very encouraging to have this number of lots at our first auction of the year. Vendors have responded to market conditions by setting realistic guide prices which means plenty of bargains for buyers.”
