Full of beans over coffee buy

COFFEE supplier Coopers, based in Huddersfield, has been bought by United Coffee as part of the Milton Keynes firm's growth strategy.

Coopers supplies 500 independently-owned cafs and restaurants in Huddersfield, Yorkshire and the North East.

Elaine Higginson, managing director of United Coffee, said; "Acquiring the company will allow us to grow our northern base and increase our presence in the growing independent sector."
