Firm moving in proves to be warehouse pet project

THE largest warehouse on Leeds's Albion Park Industrial Estate has been occupied by Pedigree Wholesale, a leading supplier of pet and aquatic products.

The 20,000 sq ft modern detached distribution unit has been secured on a 12-year lease.

Iain McPhail, principal surveyor in GVA Grimley's National Markets Industrial team, said: "This site was of particular interest to Pedigree Wholesale as the company was seeking expansion space with quick access to the motorway network and Leeds City Centre. It also offers a large service yard and loading provision which was essential for the company's operations."

He added: "It is encouraging to see that the industrial market in Yorkshire continues to improve, particularly in Leeds where there is still a good demand for quality space."
