A MANUFACTURER’S new product has proved to be a glass act.

Dempsey Dyer, based in Pontefract, has launched its new Beaumont Composite Window.

The move has been supported by Barclays Corporate.

Dempsey Dyer makes windows, doors and conservatories in UPVC, timber and composite materials.

It employs 81 staff.

Director Peter Dyer said: “Throughout the tough times we have continued to invest in research and development to maintain our competitive edge and the Beaumont Composite Window is genuinely something new. How many fabricators can say that? We wanted a design of product that would protect our customers and we are currently patenting the concept.”
