DELEGATES at the Low Carbon Best Practice Exchange in Harrogate heard about the importance of low carbon in business.

The event, sponsored by low-carbon experts CO2Sense, had seminars on such topics as cutting costs and installing renewable energy.

Four hundred organisations attended the event.

Joanne Pollard, CO2Sense chief executive, said: “This is the fourth time we have sponsored the event, and this year shows that the low carbon sector is as alive and kicking as ever. But as well as showcasing environmentally sound products and businesses, the event has helped all businesses understand how they can become engaged with the low carbon economy, and the benefits it can have for them.”
