BARCLAYS has launched its Take One Small Step competition to reward nine regional businesses or individuals with £50,000 each for great entreneurial ideas.
Nine regional winners will each receive £50,000 as well as free support and guidance to help them turn their idea into a reality.
The competition is open to existing businesses as well as those who simply have an idea and want to make it happen.
To register, go to the website www.takeonesmallstep.co.uk where entrants have the opportunity to put their idea into words.
They can also choose to make a short video clip.
A panel of regional judges will shortlist a total of 27 business ideas - three each from nine different regions.
Then it will be the public who vote for their favourite idea.
The deadline is April 27.
The nine winners will each receive £50,000 cash to put towards their business and expert advice for a year.
The competition will be supported with free business seminars focussing on improving online skills and doing business online.
