THIRTEEN staff at the Leeds branch of children’s clothing retailer Pumpkin Patch Limited have lost their jobs.

The Reading-based business, which has 36 stores across the UK, has gone into administration.

The Leeds branch is located at the White Rose Centre and is one of five stores nationally to be axed.

Pumpkin Patch’s online and non-UK operations are not effected.

Daniel Butters, partner at administrator Deloitte, said: “Pumpkin Patch Limited has suffered as a result of the unprecedented and prolonged downturn being experienced in the UK retail sector.”
