british Airways celebrated the first anniversary of its arrival at Leeds Bradford Airport yesterday.

The airline runs a three times daily service between Leeds Bradford and Heathrow.

James Keegan, British Airways regional customer service manager UK regions and Ireland, said: “We have had some very promising support for our new route from the local community so we wanted to say thank you to them as we celebrate our first year of operation.

“The flights from Leeds Bradford have really opened up the world to Yorkshire, connecting with British Airways’ excellent short haul and long haul network from London Heathrow.”

The airline is offering a discount on global flights connecting from Leeds.
