An estate agency is celebrating after making an impact on the sale of properties in the Leeds area.
Since opening its doors last July, Hunters Estate Agents has made a mark on the local market.
Managing director David Metcalfe and his sales team are ahead of their target to be market leader within 12 months of opening and have just agreed a sale on their 50th house.
Mr Metcalfe said: “I’m absolutely thrilled with how things have gone.
“To start a business at any time is always a risk but to open up an estate agents in what is perceived to be an extremely challenging market you would have to say was particularly brave.
“It just goes to show that things aren’t quite as bad as everyone is making out. It’s about having a proactive approach for today’s market. Out of the 50 we have sold, 28 of these were previously on the market with our rival agents.”
One person who has had first-hand experience of Hunters’ success is repeat investor Jo Dixon. She said: “As the first person to have bought and sold through Hunters in Yeadon I have experienced them as a buyer and as a seller.
