Yorkshire Bank lands mortgage award for 11th time
YORKSHIRE Bank has been named Best Regional Mortgage Lender by Your Mortgage magazine for the 11th time.
Also collecting awards were Yorkshire Bank's parent company, National Australia Group, and sister organisation, Clydesdale Bank.
National Australia Group was presented with the Publisher's Special Award which has been created to celebrate the twentieth year of the Your Mortgage Awards.
The award was given to the group in recognition of its "consistency, commitment and excellence" in the mortgage market for the past 20 years.
Clydesdale Bank was named "Best Mortgage Lender in Scotland" by Your Mortgage for the sixth year running.
The awards were presented at the Your Mortgage Awards held in London.
Gary Lumby, head of retail banking at Yorkshire Bank, said: "Everyone at Yorkshire Bank and the National Australia Group is very proud that our hard work has been recognised with these prestigious accolades.

Yorkshire Bank was founded in 1859 in Halifax with the name Yorkshire Penny Bank.
It has 190 retail branches in the North of England and the Midlands, and is a subsidiary of the National Australia Bank Group of companies.
Yorkshire Bank joined the group in 1990.
The bank's headquarters are in Leeds.
