Turnover joy for pawnbroker firm
INDEPENDENT pawnbroker Ramsdens has seen its 2011 turnover exceed £54m.
The company, which has five branches in Leeds, has seen a year-on-year growth of 52 per cent.
The family-owned pawnbroker and jeweller marks its 25th anniversary in 2012.
It is aiming to open 30 new stores during 2012.
CEO Peter Kenyon said: “We are not far off opening our 100th branch and that will soon be followed by many more in our key customer areas of North East England, South Wales and Scotland.”
