The women making business more Approach-able
PUBLIC relations consultancy Approach is launching a training arm Approachability to teach firms how to promote themselves.
The five-strong team has designed a series of workshops in Leeds and Bradford, the first to be held on August 6, at Bradford Chamber of Commerce .
"Though businesses may be experiencing difficult times because of the downturn, many recognise the need to raise their profile more than ever," said account manager Verity Hudson.
The first training days target 'Working with the media' and 'Effective networking', focusing on media relations.
"We'll soon be approaching our 10th year in business so we really feel the time is right to expand, diversify and broaden our offering to the business community.
"We want to ensure that the true benefits of PR become more accessible to everyone," said Verity Hudson.
