Serving up web gains with breakfast
BUSINESSES in Yorkshire can sign up for breakfast advice on web design and search engine optimisation.
The Forum of Private Business – a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping smaller businesses succeed and grow – is hosting the breakfast-time event on in Leeds Wednesday.
The forum recently discovered more than a fifth of small firms in Yorkshire still do not have a website.
Chief executive Phil Orford will be speaking along with Mike McKinlay – MD of web design company Creare.
They will explain how web design can transform the fortunes of smaller firms, increasing revenue and opening new markets and opportunities.
The event (8 to 10am at 3 Albion Place) will also provide an opportunity for people to network and meet some of the region's leading business figures.
Forum spokesman Chris Gorman said: "We've had an excellent response so far and we're hoping even more business owners will take advantage of the free advice and networking opportunities."
Book a place at www.fpb.org or call 0845 6126266. The event is free of charge and open to both members and non-members of the forum. A complimentary light breakfast will be provided.
