Leeds firm prints its mark on sector
LEEDS-based Resource Print Solutions is set to become a major player in the web to print arena following advice from the Manufacturing Advisory Service Yorkshire and Humber.
The management of the company has invested 250,000 into the business and new jobs have been created.
The Manufacturing Advisory Service provides hand-on advice and support to manufacturing businesses to improve productivity and efficient.
The current managing director, Phillip Thompson, led a management buy out of Resource Print Solutions six years ago and the company now has a turnover of 5million and employs 47 people.
Mr Thompson said: "To be honest, I was rather cynical about bodies such as MAS but I have been very impressed with the advice we received through one of its advisers, Michael Whiteley from Brook Corporate Developments."
Following recommendations, new machinery was purchased which had previously been outsourced being brought in-house and led to an improvement in cash flow.
