Lawyer to chair law event in the city
A HARROGATE lawyer is set to chair a major legal event that will attract delegates from across the country.
Andrew Meehan, of Harrogate Family Law, will be chairing the national conference of the family law association Resolution which is to take place at the Queen’s Hotel in Leeds on March 23-24.
Mr Meehan, who was recently elected vice-president of the Harrogate and District Law Society, is also set to host the conference’s annual golf tournament at Pannal Golf Club near Harrogate.
He said: “The annual conference brings together around 450 family law experts from across the country and gives them a valuable opportunity to share best practice and network.”
Sir Nicholas Wall, president of the Family Division and head of family justice, will be the keynote speaker.
