Lawyer takes part in debate

AN EXPERT in family law is set to take part in a debate about the state of marriage.

Andrew Meehan of Harrogate Family Law has been invited to join a Law Society panel in London alongside divorce lawyer Ayesha Vardag, Anastasia de Waal, chair of Parentline Plus, and Dr Samantha Callan, an expert on family relationships.

The debate - called Is This The End of Marriage As We Know It? - will be held at The Law Society on Chancery Lane in London on July 7.

Mr Meehan is the regional chairman of Resolution, the country’s leading association of specialist family lawyers, and is specially trained in collaborative family law.
