Law firm auction move to help the street children
A LEEDS law firm is to auction a free conveyancing service to help street children in South America.
Richardson and Co will carry out conveyancing on any house up to the value of 1m in the unusual fund-raising exercise.
The money raised will help send two people to Bolivia to work with Operation Restoration, which is part of the Christian ministry, Youth With A Mission, working with street children and teenagers in Santa Cruz, Bolivia to give them a future.
Assistance
Joanna and Sophie Keely are flying to Bolivia on August 1 for two weeks to help the charity offer practical assistance to encourage children and teenagers, who live full time on the streets to leave the streets.
The firm will auction a "Bearer Bond" to be auctioned through sealed bids.
Sealed bids should be sent to Joanna Keely 31 Slim Balk Lane, Bishopthorpe, York YO23 2QH to arrive no later than 6pm on Friday, July 24.
