Iain's on lookout for entrepreneurs with bright ideas

ENTERPRISE guru Iain Scott is heading to Leeds in search of men and women with bright ideas.

He is bringing his Enterprise Island Challenge to the city between October 10 and 12 when his panel of experts will meet entrepreneurs on an individual and informal basis to decide if they could turn their ideas into reality.

They will be at: Beeston Catalyst Centre, Hillside Primary School, on Wednesday, October 10; Host Media Centre, Chapeltown, on October 11; and Seacroft Catalyst Centre, at the East Leeds Family Learning Centre, on October 12.

Mr Scott said: "We want to see people aged 16 to 65 – including students, housewives and unemployed people – who are excited about setting up their own businesses and want to know if their idea has potential. Everyone gets ten minutes to 'pitch' their case to the panel.

"The 10 people whom we identify as having the most entrepreneurial potential will be offered the chance to take their ideas to the next level at a residential weekend where they will be given expert support and free help.

A further 20 will be invited to a free enterprise masterclass.

To book a free place on the challenge call (0113) 220 6357.
