Firm makes artistic move

A COMPANY has brought its 20 Leeds staff – and an eye-catching statue – to its new home at Toronto Square in the city.

Insurer Hiscox has taken the ground floor suite at the office building owned by Highcross.

Hiscox has installed the sculpture from its own extensive modern art collection at the office scheme.

Called The Pitchfork, it is three metres high and made of steel. It was created by Michael Craig-Martin.

Highcross senior asset manager Iain Taylor said: “Hiscox is the latest in a series of companies which have decided to relocate their Leeds’ offices to Toronto Square over recent months. We are very pleased to welcome the company to the building and delighted that they have marked their arrival with the installation of this spectacular sculpture.”

Our picture shows Mr Taylor of Highcross, left, and Nick Hewland of Hiscox with the sculpture.
