Digital awards for the regions makes a return to Yorkshire
A PRESTIGIOUS national awards scheme for digital industries is to be repeated in Yorkshire.
The DADI awards were started in 2007 by The Drum magazine, the publication for news, reviews and analysis across advertising, design, media, marketing, public relations and online industries outside London.
The awards were held in Leeds in 2008 at Holbeck Urban Village.
This year's awards in November will be the climax of Digital Week 2009 – a week of events, talks and workshops to explore the future for Yorkshire's digital and creative industries.
Digital Week is organized by Holbeck Urban Village and Leeds Media, with investment from Marketing Leeds and Yorkshire Forward,
The awards will remain in the region for the next three years.
Digital Week will include events in Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford, Sheffield and Scarborough andwill focus on buying local, and look at how certain towns and cities are becoming knowledge-rich in particular subjects.
The deadline for entries and nominations is July 10.
