Developers share Leeds schemes' benefits

BUSINESSES can explore how they can benefit from two major new developments in Leeds at an upcoming event in the city.

The Leeds Chamber Property Forum on September 16 will discuss possible opportunities created by Leeds Arena and Trinity Leeds shopping complex.

The meeting will include presentations from John Philips, construction director at BAM Construction, who will speak about Leeds Arena, and representatives of Land Securities who will speak about the future of Trinity Leeds.

Mark Goldstone, right, head of forum, said: "The development of the Leeds Arena and Trinity Leeds is fantastic news for the Leeds city region.

"It is a huge boost for the economy and a sign that confidence is returning.

"These developments also present huge opportunities for businesses in Yorkshire and this event will identify exactly how companies can work with the developers, as well as explore the wider economic implications of the two projects.

"The interactive format of the event means that guests will have the opportunity to question and debate with the presenters and find out how each development is relevant to their sector and business".

The event takes place from 5-7pm at Trinity Marketing Suite, Albion Exchange, LS1 6HX. It is free to attend for all chamber members and 30 + VAT for non-members. Email events@yourchamber.org.uk or call 0113 247 0000.
