Customer numbers boost proves a Christmas joy

CASINO Alea in Leeds saw a 51 per cent increase in footfall in December, the company says.

The entertainment venue, based at Clarence Dock, says that a range of initiatives to attract new visitors such as setting up cocktail masterclasses has helped.

Alea has appointed Sarah-Louise Walker as its new sales director.

She said: “Clarence Dock has great potential to be a thriving office and leisure destination but the new landlord and the council must be committed to the development for it to succeed. We want to be part of the success story.”
