Construction Yorkshire’s new member

A HOUSING association in Leeds has joined Construction Yorkshire.

Leeds Jewish Housing Association has signed up with the organisation, an arm of regeneration charity re’new.

Catherine Fay, Construction Yorkshire project co-ordinator, said: “One of our core remits is to devise meaningful social strategies to help local people benefit work-wise from developments in their area. We also introduce businesses and their services to the major players in Yorkshire’s construction industry.”

Darren Cooper, Leeds Jewish Housing Association’s chief executive, said: “The work of Construction Yorkshire and re’new is centred around making Leeds a better city, and we have joined because we can see tangible benefits for both us and our tenants.”
