A burglar claimed he was a police officer when his victim arrived home to find him in her house.

The man told the 48-year-old woman she had been broken into when she found her door open on George Street in Streethouses.

A second man then came downstairs and both ran off. Police have issued an efit image of one of them. Call PC Sayles at Wakefield CID via 101.
