Bullet lodged in door after gunshot fired at home in Leeds

A gunshot was fired at the door of a home in Leeds today (Wednesday).

Police were called to Ellers Grove, Harehills, at 6.55am after reports of a shot being fired in the area.

Officers found a bullet lodged in the door of a house in the street.

No-one was injured in the incident.

Roads around Ellers Grove, including parts of Roundhay Road, have been cordoned off today while investigators examine the scene.

Police said enquiries are ongoing.
