Shoppers in Leeds had an uplifting sight to brighten up their drizzly day on Saturday - as a 1st Crossgates Brownies did the conga around the St John’s Centre.
The girls, aged seven to 10, danced around the shopping centre to celebrate the 100th birthday of the Brownies and raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The event completed a series of adventurous and creative challenges by 1st Crossgate Brownies to mark the 100th birthday.
Brown Owl Jean Barnbrook said: “Seeing the girls take on the Big Brownie Birthday Challenge has been fantastic. They’ve learned loads of new skills and had a huge amount of fun.
“It’s great that the St John’s Centre offered the girls the chance to do the conga and we would like to say a fantastic thank you to them.”
