Body found in search for missing Leeds man

The body of a man who went missing from his home in Leeds has been found.

David Clapham, 57, was last seen at his Horsforth home on Tuesday night and was reported missing on Wednesday.

A member of the public found his body on land off Rawdon Road, Horsforth, at about 10am today (Thursday).

Det Insp Richard Holmes, of Leeds CID, said: “Formal identification is yet to be completed but we believe it is the body of Mr Clapham.

“His next of kin has been informed. The death is not being treated as suspicious and details will be passed to the coroner’s Office.”
