Growers and creative residents are set to get some serious airtime at the seventh annual Great Middleton Park Show on Sunday.

Organisers are urging people to showcase their produce and crafts at the biggest and best edition yet of the event held every year near Middleton Park’s visitor centre.

Categories include vegetables, fruit, home produce and arts and crafts, and there are junior sections in each area.

BBC Radio Leeds will broadcast live from this year’s show, which will also feature activities and stalls from 1pm to 4pm.

Frances Jones, from the Friends of Middleton Park group which is behind the event, said: “To have BBC Leeds joining us live showing the rest of Leeds all the fantastic things the park does is amazing and just shows how much this event has grown in the last seven years.”
