Bewitching musical set for Leeds return

Tickets are on sale for the return of long-running musical Wicked to Leeds Grand Theatre next summer.

One of the most successful productions in the venue’s history, Wicked was seen by more than 42,000 people in 2014. An alternative telling of Frank Baum’s classic The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Wicked returns from June 13 to July 7, 2018, with tickets going on sale this weekend.

“The people of Leeds and Yorkshire loved Wicked when it was here at The Grand in 2014,” says General Manager Ian Sime. “We were taken aback by the queues to purchase tickets on the first day of sale, and from there it went from strength to strength.”
