AN ARTIST whose latest work depicts days gone by in a Leeds community is to speak at a festival for Jewish arts and culture in the city this weekend.

Beverley-Jane Stewart will give a presentation at the Leeds Day Limmud at Weetwood Hall in Lawnswood on Sunday May 18.

She will be speaking about how Jews keep their identity and still connect with their English culture.

Her latest work ‘The History of the Leeds Community’ focuses on Leeds and the School of Contemporary Dance in Chapeltown. Go to limmud.org/day/leeds/
