A man dressed as a woman exposed himself to groups
of young people in West Yorkshire.

Three separate offences were committed in the Pontefract area in December.

Detectives say a man has been arrested in connection with the incidents.

The first took place in Baghill, Pontefract, on December 10 at 7.30pm.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “A group of young people were walking past the suspect, who was wearing a black wig, black vest, leggings, a waistcoat and high heels, when one asked if he was a woman.

“As the group turned, they saw the suspect was exposing himself to them.”

Police say two further very similar incidents have also taken place.

They were at 8pm on December 20 on the Knottingley Road Business Park and at 8.30pm on the December 28 in Chequerfield Lane.

Police have arrested a man in connection with the incidents, but are appealing for anyone who may have seen the suspect exposing himself to them to contact police.
