Have your say

If you could create your own mini stage performance, what would it be?

That’s the question one arts festival is asking as members of the public are being offered the chance to take centre stage.

A new show called WANTED is offering individuals, families, schools, workplaces, community groups and local organisations three-minute slots during the show at the West Yorkshire Playhouse’s Courtyard Theatre.

Anything from ballet to basketball and speeches to complete silence will be considered for each of the 24 time slots.

Award-winning director Chris Goode and his team will work to make the successful applicants’ visions a reality.

The show will be held on April 22 and 23 as part of Transform 16 and is in collaboration with West Yorkshire Playhouse, funded by Leeds Inspired and Arts Council England.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on January 25.

To apply, e-mail info@transformfestival.org or call 07522 411 904.
