Appeal to trace missing Gipton teenager

Police are urgently appealing for information to trace a 14-year-old girl from Leeds who has gone missing. 

Jennifer Budi was reported missing from her home in the Gipton area of the city at 11.30am today.

Ms Budi is a Hungarian national described as white, 5ft 3ins, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing gold coloured shoes, light coloured jeans and a black jacket, and was carrying a black Michael Kors bag. 

Detective Inspector Marc Bowes, of Leeds District Safeguarding Unit, said: “We are very concerned for Jennifer’s welfare and urgently need to hear from anyone who has seen her. Officers are conducting a range of enquiries to find her and we would ask anyone with any information that could assist in tracing her to get in touch.” 

Anyone with information is asked to contact Leeds District CID via 101 quoting log number 571 of February 13.
