Police are hunting two men in connection with an assault in a Wakefield bar.

The male victim was waved towards the two men just after he had walked out of the toilets in X-bar, in Westgate, Wakefield, on Tuesday July 29 between 2am and 3am. The victim was then assaulted and dragged out of the fire escape.

Police Constable Laura Robinson, of the Wakefield Central Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The bar was busy at the time and so we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, including the two pictured to get in contact.”

West Yorkshire Police have released images of two men they hope to trace. Call the Wakefield Central NPT on 101 with information which may help to identify them.
