The 19-year-old pedestrian was involved in a collision with a Skoda Octavia car in Burley Street at the junction with Park Lane, just before 2am yesterday.

The youth was taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment. A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said his injuries were serious but not considered to be life threatening.
