Appeal after 95-year-old pedestrian is critically hurt in collision in Leeds

police ARE appealing for witnesses to a traffic collision which left a 95-year-old with critical injuries

The incident happened at around 10:50am today. A red BMW saloon car collided with an elderly pedestrian on Kirkstall Lane in Leeds, near the railway station.

The 95-year-old male pedestrian suffered serious leg injuries in the collision and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

He was then taken to Leeds General Infirmary where Police said he remains in a critical condition.

PC Lee Moody from West Yorkshire Police’s Safer Roads Unit said, “Enquiries are continuing and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to get in touch via 101.”
