Families are being invited to pop on their Easter bonnets and celebrate spring at the Stockeld Park Easter Adventure.

The events, which will be held at the park near Wetherby, will take place from
Wednesday, March 23 to Sunday, April 17.

Family fun will be the order of the day with a host of special events taking place across the Easter weekend and throughout the school holidays.

New to the adventure this year is The Easter Bunny and Old MacDonald Show from Good Friday to Easter Monday. Little ones will delight in seeing the Easter Bunny with Old
MacDonald in a fun filled show featuring Stockeld Park’s resident mascots Pom Pom and Stanley.

From Monday, April 4 until Sunday, April 10 Stockeld Park welcomes for the first time a new visiting petting farm.

Children can experience the joy of spring by getting up close with the rabbits and ducks, greet the baby goats and even bottle feed some new born lambs.

Due to popular demand the extraordinary Hatch It event returns, but this year children can observe and anticipate the eggs hatching live and follow the chick’s progress during the adventure season.

Sarah Murray, marketing manager at Stockeld Park, said: “Easter is a special time of year to get outside with the family. We were keen to celebrate new life at this year’s Easter Adventure. “With the new petting farm and hatching eggs we hope our visitors have a fantastic family day out.”

Tickets are priced at £12 online for individual day passes for all activities or £44 online for a family day pass (excluding scooter hire)
