A lick of paint for Leeds primary school

A group of volunteers gave up their time to help transform a Leeds school.

Volunteers at Hovingham Primary School helped paint gates a new colour, turfed a courtyard and worked on a woodland project.

The scheme was organised by Yorkshire Bank and Business in the Community.

Phillip Painter, head of the school’s family team, said: “It has been a superb opportunity to work with Yorkshire Bank and Business in the Community, the feedback from children and parents has been great. We welcome opportunities to work with other businesses who wish to play in active role in shaping the future of our school.”
