A Leeds-based brand, communications and design agency has announced a series of special works to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
BML Creative will be undertaking a programme of special creative collaborations with local businesses and organisations all around the theme of ‘Ten’ and it starts with students at Leeds Beckett University.
The firm, relocated to Harehills Road from Cheltenham in 2010 and was founded by husband and wife, David and Natalie Holloway.
It has worked on branding and marketing for clients such as the University of London, NHS, The Royal British Legion and is now offering its services to the city’s students looking to get into the world of work.
Mr Holloway said: “We didn’t want the occasion to pass by unnoticed, so instead we’ve decided to push the boat out and run an entire series of special collaborative projects over the next 12 months.
“We’re kicking things off by offering ten final year design students in the Leeds area the opportunity to sit down with myself for a detailed one to one portfolio review.
“The idea is to help them avoid some of the common pitfalls that I see from recent graduate job applications on a near daily basis.”
BML has already met with the university to engage students in the programme. He added: “We have already seen a terrific response to the idea and if the response is as expected, we’re hoping it might become a regular fixture in our calendar.”
BML has also recently launched the latest version of its website which includes a detailed overview of the agency’s Foundation™ brand strategy process – a highly bespoke service designed to help ambitious businesses grow. Itself it has eight employers and are expecting to grow that number.
