Police, fire crews and medical establishments in the Yorkshire and Humberside region appeared to be fans of the takeaway meal, with thousands believed to have been delivered in the last year, according to figures.
Yorkshire and Humberside police staff ordered more takeaway meals to stations than any other force in the country. A total of 3,583 deliveries were made.

Managing director David Buttress said: "One of our online takeaway reps noticed that a large online takeaway order was to a police station in Yorkshire. So we decided to turn the tables and investigate.
