A work night out in Wetherby ended in a brawl after allegations of theft, a court was told.
Magistrates at Harrogate heard how workers from the Bridge Inn at Walshford went into Wetherby on May 6 and drank heavily before returning.

Romanian bar worker Cristian Costin got into an argument over stolen cigarettes when the group returned.

He had run down a corridor towards another staff member Michael Ragu and a fight had started.

Other staff members pulled the pair apart before police arrived.

Police arrested both men and cautioned Mr Ragu. But Costin, 23, refused to accept a caution so had to make a court appearance.

Costin admitted threatening behaviour provoking fear of violence and was conditionally discharged for three months with £45 costs.
